Prerequisite - See Related Article: How to Navigate Events, Under Booking, in Event Management

1 - After you have searched an event, click on the Target Icon in the right part of the line.

2 - This will bring you to the SITE SELECTION screen.   You will see the event listed in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

2.1 - All of the possible sites are listed to the left.

2.2 - There is also a map you can zoom in and out on.

2.3 - You can hide this list or hide the map by clicking on their respective buttons at the top of the screen.

3 - The first step is to select your filters under the ADD FILTERS.  Click where it says "Choose..." and it will create a drop-box.

3.1 - When you choose a filter it creates another filter box to further narrow the results.  In this example, "Population by Age" was chosen.  Choose an option from the next filter.

3.2 - In this next filter you are choosing a radius distance, from the site, that this age exists (either by DRIVE TIME or RADIUS)

3.3 - Next you will choose the Age Range you will be searching.

3.4 - You can choose greater than, less than, equal to, etc.

3.5 - In this example you would put in an age for it to be Greater Than.  Then click on the "+" symbol.

4 - This will solidify the filter in the ADD FILTER section.

5 - You will now see the list update with the Sites that fit your new filter and you will see the map update as well.

5.1 - If I zoom in on the 620 that you see in the above map (you can do this by rolling your mouse wheel), you will see the sites to become more clear.  Now we are looking just at Texas.  However, there are still a lot of options.

5.2 - You can see how many new booking opportunities are available, based on your one filter, in the lower right corner of the screen.

6 - You can add more filters to further refine the amount of possible sites for this event.  Go back to the ADD FILTERS section and repeat 3.1 through 3.4 of this Article.  Again the map is zoomed in to show Texas.

In this example:  Race - Black - within 10 miles - Greater than 10% of the population.

6.1 - You will now see that the amount of eligible sites that fit both of these criteria has gone down significantly.

6.2 - You can see these what these booking are zooming into the green parts of the map, or you can go over to the list.

The two filters I have used will be shown at the top.   The numbers in these rows that fit within the filters, will be green.  Ones that don't will be red.

6.3 - You can sort these column so that you can find the ones that green for all of the filters.  Simply click on the headers and it will filter.  The first click will go to the lowest result, also being red results (Figure a).   The second click will get you the green results you desire (Figure b).  You will also see your sorts being created at the top (Figure c).

6.4 - Then do this for the other columns you created filters for.    You will also see these sorts appear at the top.  Now you can see the five locations that fit both of  your features.

6.5 - You can quickly clear your sorting by clicking on the CLEAR SORTING button at the top of the screen.

6.6 - You can also uncheck the box, under SELECTED, if you do not want a site that fit your filters to be a site that is booked.

7 - If you want to lock these in and still change your filters to get more sites involved, you can click the lock symbol next to the Site.   If this shows "locked" you can change the filters and this site will still stay an eligible booking site.

8 - If you have found all of your Sites, that you want to book your event, click the Book _ New Sites (the blank will be the number of sites that your filters have created) under the BOOK SITES section on the right side of the page.

8.1 - You can export your list to Microsoft Excel by clicking the EXPORT LIST.

9 - Once you click the button to book your sites you will get a "Success" message.

10 - You can now book more sites, based on other filters or you can start over with a new event.   To do this click the red button next to the event name in the upper right corner.

10.1 - If you do this, you will get a confirmation message.  You can click OK to go ahead and change the event or you can click CANCEL to change your mind.

11 - Now the Event will be empty in the SELECT EVENT section.   You can click in the Search Events box and start typing to find an event with no filters to help you find the event.

12 - If you want to use filters to help you find an event, then click on the EVENTS button in the left navigation bar.   Then follow the Prerequisite article at the top of the screen.
