Description: Request has reached maximum tries

 

Alert triggered by (System or Rule): System

Rule Name (if applicable): N/A

Service: Remote Agent
Sub-Service: SNMP
Error Color: Red 

What it means: The Remote Agent service tried to connect to the device and did not get any response back from the device.

Resolution Steps:

  1. Locate the device within Command Center
  2. Open the device and review the last connected time data
  3. Contact site to determine if the device is offline
  4. When the device comes back online, acknowledge the alert in Command Center

       a: This will clear the alert and Remote Agent will try to connect to the device
