How to Edit a Current Rule (*)

1 - In the rules list, click on the edit rule icon.

 

 

2 - At the top of the screen you can edit the name and description of the current rules.

 

 

3 - Under CONDITIONS, You can alter the conditions in which the rule takes place. You can choose the service that is the rule (a).  You the indicator within this service that is triggering the rule (b).  You can also change which location will trigger the rule (c).

4 - Under ACTIONS, you can change how you are notified by the rule (a) and what severity color you will choose for this rule being triggered (b).

5 - Under ACTIONS, you can also delete this action if you no longer want this to take place.  Click the trash can icon to the far right.

 

 

6 - You add a new action on this screen by clicking +ACTION button in the lower left corner of the screen.

 

 

7 - This will produce new drop boxes in the ACTIONS section.   This is where you can set up various actions that will take place if this rule happens.

 

8 - Click SAVE in the lower right corner of the screen.
