How to import a .package file and apply permissions

Make sure that all users exit Microsoft Dynamics GP
Login to GP as sa or an administrator user account
Go to Tools --> Customize --> Customization Maintenance

Click on import and browse to the .package file to import and then click OK

Now we need to add security to the file(s) that we just imported
Go to Tool --> Setup --> System --> Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports
Select Appropriate ID (Kasima or NON-PA) in this example I've chosen Kasima
Select Microsoft Dynamics GP For Product | Select REPORTS for Type
Expand “Purchasing” and Expand each of the 3 Modified Reports to select the “Modified” version of the Reports.

Click Save.
