How to configure sites/auditoriums

1. Log in to the Partner Portal.

2. Go to Deployment -> Configuration Tool. This will open the Configuration Tool, and provide a search function so that the sites may be easily located.

3. Sites can be searched for by specifying an Exhibitor and State.
4. Or, sites can be searched for by specifying a Site Code or Site Name.
5. Once the appropriate search criteria has been entered, click the Search for Sites button to retrieve a list of matching sites.

6. A list to the right will be displayed with matching sites. To select the appropriate site, click either the link in the Site Code or Site column.

7. Select the Auditorium or Central Asset to be configured by clicking the link in the Auditorium column.

8. A configuration screen will be displayed allowing for the various components to be selected. Go through each section and select the appropriate equipment.

NOTE: It is critical that each piece of needed equipment is specified during this process. DCIP will use the configuration data to generate Purchase Orders and procure equipment.

NOTE: Only equipment applicable to the Exhibitor/Site will be displayed.

NOTE: Some items, such as lamps or network switch cards, will not be visible until the parent product, such as the projector or network switch, has first been selected.

9. Once completed, click the Save button.

10. A confirmation prompt will appear. Enter any comments as needed and click Save to confirm.

NOTE: Through the configuration process, the auditorium status will change from Not Started to In Progress. This indicates the Auditorium/Central asset has been configured and is now ready for management approval.

11. Repeat the process as needed until all necessary Central Assets and Auditoriums
have been configured.
