1. Log in to the Partner Portal.
2. Go to Operations -> Item Management.
NOTE: Your account will need the proper permissions to access Item Management.
3. A list of existing items will be displayed.
4. To add a new item, click the Create New dropdown window and select the device type. For this example, a media block is used.
5. The new item details screen will be displayed.
6. On the left, enter the Manufacturer, Model, and Description.
7. Next, enter the vendor information included Vendor Name, Vendor SKU, and Default Cost.
8. Put a check mark in the Active box.
9. Fill out the fields in the Properties window.
NOTE: Fields contained in the Properties window will vary based on equipment type.
10. Click the Exhibitor Details tab.
NOTE: In this example, a media block is being added. Because of this all of the available fields are media block related. These fields will vary based on which type of an item is being added.
11. In the Exhibitor Details window, check off each Exhibitor that will be using the new item.
12. Enter the item's contracted cost for each Exhibitor.
13. Click the Warranty Information tab.
14. Click the Add Extended Warranty button.
15. Enter the length (in months) of the standard manufacturer/vendor warranty.
16. Enter the length (in months) and cost of the extended warranty. Extended warranties may only cover an additional 1 or 2 years. Repeat this step until there are extended warranty descriptions covering 10 years; at which point the Exhibitor will take ownership of the equipment.
17. There is a Notes tab where optional information may be added. If notes are added to the item, they will appear on future PO's.
18. Click the Save button to add the item to AMS and GP.
19. A confirmation message will appear when the item has been added.
