How to Import Group Assignments and Tiers from an Excel Document (*)

1 - Click on GROUPS (blue box)  in the left navigation bar (green box).

 

 

2 - This will bring you to the Groups home page.

 

 

3 - Click on the IMPORT button in the lower right part of the screen.

 

 

4 - This will create a pop-up a box that says "Import Group Assignments".

 

 

5 - Next you will click BROWSE (red box).  This will access your computer's files and you select the appropriate Excel file to Import.    To see an example of the file click on the EXAMPLE FILE button (yellow box).

 

 

5.1 - The Example File looks like this.

 

 

6 - You wills the file that you chose listed in the "File for Import" box.

 

 

7 - To finalize the Import, click on the blue SAVE button.  If you change your mind you can click the grey CLOSE button and no file will be Imported.

 

 

8 - You will get a confirmation screen.  This tells you that long lists may take longer than normal to import.  You can continue to navigate and it will let you know that the Import is complete.   If you still want to go ahead, click on the ACCEPT button.  You can still cancel without Importing by clicking the CANCEL button.

 

 

9 - After the Import is complete you will see the Tiers have been set-up on the Groups page.   Also, any Sites you had loaded into that Excel file, will be loaded into the requested Tiers.

 

 

10 - Any Sites that were on the file to Import but where not available sites for this exhibitor, will show in an alert in the upper right corner of your screen (purple box).  Click the alert itself to dismiss this alert (yellow box).
