  1. Login to the partner portal at https://portal.dcipllc.com.

  2. Navigate to VPF > VPF Management > Content.

  3. This brings you to the search function of the content screen.   You will see the search box in the upper left corner.

  4. Next pull up the current list of CPL's that need to be put in under the feature in the "Content" page.   As of 6/14/2016, it can be found at: http://reporting02.dcipllc.com/Reports/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=%2fMisc+Reports%2fNo+Content+ID+in+LogVault

  5. Export the list to Excel.

  6.  Find a feature in the list.   There are a lot of thing in this list.   There could be trailers or pre-show features.   Only CPLs for Features should be added to content.   This takes some detective work.

A - First simply take the title and put in the search box.

B - If it's already in the system, you will see it appear under "Content ID".

C - If it's not in the system yet you will not see it appear.  Then you will go to IMDB.com or Google.com and confirm that the film exists.

D - Once you have confirmed the film exists you can add it to the system.

Click "ADD" --> Put in the Title --> Click "Save Detail"

E - You will see this message.  Click "OK".

F - You will then get a confirmation message.

G - You will now see that the film is listed.

  7. Next click on the CPL tab.

  8. Click on the ADD CPL button in the lower left corner.

  9. You will get this screen.

  10. Under the CPL section, cut and paste the CPL from the spreadsheet.

  11. Under the Description box, put in the CPLDescription.

  12. Under the Distributor box you will need to put in the studio.   The description does not always have the two letter distributor code.   If it does, it will appear just before the date.   The description is based on the Digital Cinema Naming Convention .  If you go to this website you will see what each part means.  You will also find what the two-letter codes mean by going to the "Studio Codes (appendix 5)" section of this website.

If you cannot find the studio code (distributor), or it's missing from the description, then just choose "Unknown Distributor" as the option.  Just start typing in the box and a list will appear.

  13. Click the SAVE button and you will see the content has been added.
